We made it! Savannah was beaming all day. She just wanted to be with her friends again. The best part for her was Cross Country after school with Coach Clapp. He made a big deal about knowing her and how she did the STP this year. (She also liked seeing some elem. friends she hadn't seen in a while.)Autumn was her witty self, and loved both of her teachers. Liam was ready for the long day. He will do good with his teacher Mrs. Gee this year. He also was happy to see so many friends from last year. (He also got this way cool homework folder- the highlight of his day)
Hazel and had a quiet morning and then off to Burger King for lunch- I couldn't think of anything better.
Dan did not want to talk about his day, so I guess it was a little overwhelming.
So day two is picture day for Savannah and she didn't want to mess her hair by riding the bike to school, but Dan made her do it anyway- just no helmet. She is going to butt heads with him a lot when she is a teenage.

tell Savannah I totally understand the hair thing- Nothing like helmet head to ruin a picture.
I love the pictures of the kids. I need to do better. I just never feel witty and funny like Heidi is- my life is sooooo totally different. I miss those days of toddlers and the funny things they say- I just worry what my kids will say now. : >
I love that about Savannah and her helmet hair, i remember in high school we had a class where we had to ride bikes and we had to wear helmets and i hated wearing the helmet because it totally messed up my hair! It just gets worse as she gets older :)
