This year I was the Stake Hiking specialist for girls camp. It was fun. Our 1st and 2nd year hikes may have been a little short, but we had fun route finding and visiting.This is my 4th year over night group.
myself, two leaders and 27 girls. We did a small hike to a lake and then canoed to an Island for the night. Try docking 10 canoes at the same time. great fun. On the island I made dutch oven pizza which turn out great. (took to long but girls were fine waiting.) Next I had a treasure hunt with activities along the way. Like drinking slime and eating candy cockroches, a puzzle and an ostacle coruces.
They even talked me into sleeping under the stars. We stayed up too late. Got up at 6am and canoed back. I feel very blessed that anything fell into place. Man it's good to be home. Now I must get ready for our Utah trip.
